Hey again
It’s Nigh Guy. (Though one guy calls me “Gay Guy”… )
If you’re here, then you’re looking for some explanations about who, what, where, when, why and why…
The Date
Once upon a time, in a land far unlike Earth, a certain flaming regal Koopa led his glorious army to battle, holding several castles to his name and creating decoys to arm each one. The lands were peaceful, and the army, happy… that was, until they were savagely looted and brutalized by a lone vigilante!
However, with a solid game plan, the right landscaping, and the correct traps, this vigilante would meet his downfall. (o.0)
You may better know this tale as “Super Mario Bros.” for the Famicom & NES. This final castle, the one staffed by our true King Bowser (to be honest, he ran out of Tanooki Leafs) was designated 8-4. (°o°)!!
Fast forward many years to our current time, and that castle designation showed up again on the American version of the Gregorian calendar (08-04) as August 4th every year… a perfect time to celebrate the legacy of Bowser, the Koopa King (among his other endowments)

“What do I do?” I hear you ask at your screen, out loud.
ANYTHING. (0.0) We celebrate with art, merch, replaying our favorite moments with Bowser and having a shell of a time with his Gracious Raucousness.
I (personally) recommend playing Bowser’s Fury so you can see up close his every detail. I’d stay away from that game Bowser’s Inside Story though, he’s not too happy about having to relive that shaky relationship he had with our oppressors… (o.o)”
